Enriched Air Nitrox Course
Extend your bottom time, shorten your surface interval, and maximize every dive with a NAUI Enriched Air Nitrox certification. This certification is very simple and can be completed in an afternoon without any in-water training. We highly recommend the training if you are pursuing dive travel or repetitive diving.

Course Description
During this course, you will learn how to choose the proper blend of Nitrox for your dive profile, determine maximum depth limits for your Nitrox mixture, analyze your breathing mixture, and plan and safely execute each dive.

Your instructor will teach you about the physiology of oxygen and nitrogen; advantages, disadvantages, and risks of Nitrox; oxygen toxicity; hazards and precautions of handling oxygen; the concept of Equivalent Air Depth; use of EANx with standard Air Dive Tables; common gas mixing procedures, and more.

The minimum age is 10 years (Junior EANx certification) or 15 years (EANx certification). After completing the course, graduates are considered competent to utilize EANx (up to EAN40) in open water diving activities without direct supervision.
